The final 2007 tally is in for Salmon in Haines, Alaska. The Alaskan Department of Fish and Game summed it up on their website. In a nutshell:
- Chilkoot River Coho - late and below average
- Chilkoot River Sockeye - 72,561 through the weir above the 30 year average
- Chilkoot River Pink - well above average
- Chilkat River Coho - two weeks late and well below average. 25,129 fish, well below the escapement goal range of 30,000- 70,000 fish. Commercial fishery was the lowest since they have been using coded wire tracking
- Chilkat River King - below average
- Chilkat River Sockeye - below average
- Chilkat River Pink - above average
