Yukoners Welcome!  Skagway Fishing Derby July 10-13 (from Andrew)

Hey - still loving the site.

I wanted to let the readers know the Pat Moore Memorial Game Fish Derby here in Skagway will be held on July 10-13 this year.

Support from the Yukon was great last year and we want it to continue this year. In fact, last year a Yukoner won the grand prize and other prizes totaling almost $3,000 in cash and a bunch of great prizes.

We expect a similar prize pool this year and all proceeds go to charity.  Your readers should sheck the regulations and make sure they save their king salmon limits for the derby so they can win the dough.

One more thing, if any of your readers would like to volunteer to help us with prize donations from Whitehorse businesses, the help would be
greatly appreciated.

One more thing Dennis, the total prize pool for the derby this year should be around $13,000 in cash and prizes.  Grand prize should be $2,500 - and we will soon be
announcing a special Yukoner’s Prize and many others.

Thanks you for everything. Especially the lake trout I will be catching in the Yukon in the very near future. ;)
