Lake Trout/Pike Report from Wilderness Fishing Yukon (testimonial from client)

Dennis here…in order to give people an idea of the great fly-in, lodge, fishing in the Yukon I have attached a testimonial from some regular Swiss clients from Wilderness Fishing Yukon . According to Bernard, this group comes every few years and fishes exclusively on the fly.

Nice to hear from you!!!! We’re all fine, but still a little lost in switzerland and our jobs! And we’re not to happy with the fish we catch here:

Its difficult to tell you numbers and sizes: At the beginning at Ken, we had about ten fish per person per day: But an average of about 70-75 centimeters. Then the sizes became smaller. After the lake change we caught more than twenty/thirty fish per person per day, but not as big ones. Until the last two evenings; we allowed Sandro to put his name on the 20 pound list in the cabin: This one was very fat!!! I’m sorry for not being able to give you more detailed info, but we did not weight the fish, only measured some of them and we did not count: But you can write to everybody we caught more fish as we were able to count!

We all would like to visit you at least three times a year: Don’t you need some professional test-fisherman for your lakes? We would even count the fish!
