Fish Ladder Salmon Cam is Up

Yukon Energy would like to let everyone know that the salmon cam is up for another year at the Whitehorse Fish Ladder.
While the salmon are not in yet, there is quite a large group of white fish that can be viewed on Camera 3.
There have also been a number of improvements to the fishladder’s visitor building this year. The children’s corner has been expanded and now have more activities for them, including a microscope that they can use to view fish scales, otoliths, etc. and learn how to tell the age of a fish. There is new outdoor signage with more indoor interpretive panels being produced. Yukon Energy always welcome suggestions from visitors so please pass along any ideas to the fishladder staff or to .

So just moved back up here, after 2 years in Alberta, and I have spent TONS of time out at pump house lake, catching nothing. Trying to go for Rainbows, however some arctic char would be nice. Also any good spots, close to Whitehorse for shore fishing for pike? Any solutions you can help me with that would be great.
