Saturday at noon at Schwatka Lake.
Sunday at 9am at Jackson Lake.
What a busy Yukon fishing weekend. Saturday I helped out with the Up North Adventures demo days and did a little kayak fishing demo. I was out on Schwatka Lake with a lifejacket and a t-shirt. Not 24 hours later a 20 degree swing in temperature and it was snowing. Today I helped the Yukon Fish and Game Association with their Yukon Outdoor Women program. Susan and I did a full day fishing lesson at Jackson Lake. I am not scared to say it was bloody cold. The women were troopers going with the flow and keeping themselves, warm, entertained and still into the learning. This was a great group of women that I hope to see out there on Yukon lakes and rivers fishing. A hats off to Nansi C., Susan Thompson and YFGA for this great program. They learned boat safety, quad safety, hunting and firearms and whole bunch of other stuff. If interested, I would contact the YFGA and sign-up early because it does fill up.
